ArcelorMittal Refractories, formerly known as ZMO, PMO S.A., PMO Komex, was established in 1953 as an integrated part of W.I. Lenin Steel Plant (presently known as ArcelorMittal Poland) in Nowa Huta, Krakow.

ArcelorMittal Refractories manufactures various kinds of Refractories for applications in Iron & Steel, Nonferrous Metals, Foundries, Cement, Lime, Glass, Coke, Chemical and Power Plants.

ArcelorMittal Refractories is one of the comprehensive Refractory manufacturing plants in Europe with latest facilities for production of Alumino-Silicate, Magnesite, Mag Chrome, Magnesia Carbon, Dolomite, AMC & Spinel Bricks besides various Monolithics, Castables & Precast shapes.

ArcelorMittal Refractories, during the operation for 60 years’ now, has modernized all their manufacturing facilities, coupled with an updated Technology as a measure for continuous improvement to produce newest generation Refractories to stay ahead.

ArcelorMittal Refractories provides the concept of TOTAL REFRACTORY SOLUTION to the Users starting from the development of Design, Manufacturing and Applications. Selection of the best suited Raw Materials, stringent Process Control and Consistency of Quality are the guiding factors for the success of ArcelorMittal Refractories.

Since 2006 ArcelorMittal Refractories is a 100% subsidiary of ArcelorMittal Poland.
